Specially developed adhesion promoter for difficult surfaces
A good and completely homogeneous adhesion base is an important prerequisite for a high-quality parylene layer.
Our most popular methods are:
- Plasma cleaning
- Plasma activation
- Primer (silane), which we use as an adhesion promoter of the first quality class between parylene layers and the products to be coated. Silane is primarily used in the coating of stainless steel (VA) and chromium-nickel steels and is used to improve the adhesion of parylene.
- Our “Interface Layer” is specially developed by us, for an optimal adhesion bond
This process results in improved mechanical properties. The penetration of water between the interfaces is made considerably more difficult and the temperature stability is significantly improved; the dielectric strength of the layer is increased as well.
